LIVING HER TRUTH - A PROJECT FOR LGBTQ+ WOMEN
Helping LGBTQ+ women live in the authentic truth of who they are
I’ve created #LIVINGHERTRUTH to support LGBTQ+ women struggling with self-acceptance, shame or discomfort related to their sexual orientation. This is a wellness project to support and help women to accept and love themselves just as they are and to feel free to live authentically.
I came out as gay to my family and close friends 24 years ago (at age 30). I know what it’s like to feel wrong or different or judged or discriminated against because of your sexual orientation. I’m on my own journey of self-acceptance and self-love. I am proud of who I am as a gay woman but there are still times that I find it uncomfortable, triggering and scary.
I am on a mission to help amazing and brilliant LGBTQ+ women live a more authentic life. To create projects and events that support you to shine brightly and live your full potential. Where you will feel you belong. Where you can connect with like-minded women who get you, who you feel safe with and who you can trust.
If you are struggling with self-acceptance, low self-esteem, confidence or confusion about who you are now, what to do about it (or not do about it) then I’d love to help.
Empowerment Circle for LGBTQ+ Women (Next session TBC)
This new event will be held regularly in Brighton, first session 18th July 2019.
This is for you if:
You feel like you are filtering yourself and hiding who you truly are from yourself and the rest of the world.
You wish you could worry less about what others think of you.
You hide your sexual orientation from others through fear of rejection or judgement.
You’ve come out later in life and are struggling to come to terms with your ‘new’ life.
Or maybe you aren’t out yet and you are struggling with the realisation that you are LGBTQ+ and not sure what to do about it?
What you will experience:
Support from other women who understand your struggles and are also on the journey to self-acceptance and freedom related to their sexual orientation.
Support and healing from the discomfort, judgement or shame that you experience about being LGBTQ+
Support to feel less afraid about shining in the fullness of who you are without filtering or hiding parts of you.
Support to explore how to be more empowered to be yourself.
Feeling more able to enjoy being a LGBTQ+ woman (imagine that!)
This event is for a maximum of 8 women.
You can book your place via Eventbrite or by contacting me directly by text/phone on 07947 280098 (ensuring absolute confidentiality when booking).
